New Year Show Off
Starting off the New Year in Hawaii right! My first show and it was a great turn out… met up with my new fellow Z drivers and cruised down to what seems to be the first big show in the new year. I have compiled some photos I took and made a small slideshow of the Zs that were at the event. From talking about cars, to seeing ricers, and enjoying some very heavily modified vehicles… I appreciate the welcome that Oahu, HI has to offer. Import-Domests-Rare vehicles… Hawaii is still on par with the mainland!
Hellaflush is next! February 27, 2010!

I’ve been away from my blog for quite some time now… Moving to Hawaii, I’ve been so busy with moving in, getting settled into my job, and registering my car that I haven’t had time for anything. BUt that will change! For now, enjoy this great review from the Top Gear staff about the Lexus/Toyota LFA! Wish I had one…

Wow, sorry for the lack of updates! I’ve been back home in California and lovin’ life! Finally got back into the driver seat and back to eating some good ol’ Filipino food… yummmmm.

Anyways, my cousin, brother, a few buddies, and I went out to some hidden track that use to be a go-kart business and shredded on it for a few hours. I was amazed on the pricing of the place and how much room there was to just “do whatever”. Of course we played it safe and kept an eye on everything that was going on. Other than that, we all will be back again to do another session and I’ll bring ALL my equipment for a videoshoot. But yeah, it’s great to be home and it’s great to be back in sunny Southern California!

Beautiful!
New Toy! Samsung ST50!
Well it had to happen sooner or later… I needed a point and shoot camera. The 5D Mark II was just too much to carry around, plus it gets in the way when you’re trying to take public transportation. Oh and it also paints a target on me saying, “steal my shit!”… nope, didn’t want that. Hah. Anyways, I actually bought a camera backpack from iPark mall here in Korea… it’s a brand I’ve never heard from before but the quality is amazing! I’ll have to do a full review on it but I don’t know where else you can buy it. I’ve searched the internet for the brand but nothing… oh well, I’ll do that in the next post. For now, I’ll show you some images of my new small camera:

Sorry for the lack of photos, but I’ve been hella busy lately. Gathering up my things for Hawaii/Los Angeles and all the last minute stuff with my current job has been pretty hectic. I’ll try to hit up a more in depth review on all the other new toys I’ve acquired since my last post. Other than that, Happy Halloween! (er… soon)

A trip to Seoul Tower is another way to unwind here in Korea. Being stationed here, I get to see a lot of cool things and this is one of the highlights of staying here. At the base, there are tons of shops and small eating areas perfect for chit chat. My favorite had to be the Cold Stone Creamery that was strategically located at the entrance. Just thinking about it makes me want some more ice cream…
Before going up there, I actually hit up a small cruise that went down the Hannam River and saw this building looking thing that shot out tons of water… I thought it was quite interesting.
A little close to home… Manila and Los Angeles. Always a pleasure to visit both areas here and there.
This was also located inside the tower… turns out you can buy “tiles” and write whatever you want on them and post them on the walls. I heard they are on the ground floor as well. Perfect for a date or couple?
Great visit to the tower… hopefully I visit it again before I leave. I recommend the visit, but the walk up the hill might kill a few people, haha!

>>AUTO: Andrew’s Fairlady Z Part I
It’s been about a year and a half since I’ve been home to my car. In about a month, I’ll be back to my beloved 350z! Here are some photos of how it was before I left and how it looks currently. I also have some extra parts laying around that I have to install… i.e. 06+ headlights, Amuse front diffuser, custom harness bar, and other parts…
Biggest change when I left was the installation of the Amuse front bumper. Tons of air flow from the front opening and it’s still waiting on the sexy Amuse front diffuser. Another addition was the Seibon carbon fiber hood, but it was plagued with fitment issues that clashed with the bumper so I had to get remove it:
Also with the Works Bell short hub, NRG quick release 2.5 (red), and Nardi Deep Corn 330mm steering wheel:
This is how the Z looks now. Dropped with Stance GR+ coilovers, added some Bride seats, and some new rotors:
Sigh. I can’t wait! I will also be moving to Hawaii and this time I’ll bring my car with me… Korea without a car just isn’t the same.
Thanks to Oliver and Brian (My brother) for the photos of my car!
